What to Wear for Desert Safari in Dubai

Lightweight, breathable clothes are the safest choice. T-shirts, loose trousers, long shorts, and casual tops all work well for most desert safari packages.

Avoid very heavy fabrics because they trap heat and become uncomfortable during dune activities. If you are joining an evening safari in winter, bring a light jacket because desert temperatures can drop after sunset.

Closed shoes, trainers, or secure sandals are usually the easiest option. You may step onto soft sand, walk around camp, and get in and out of 4x4 vehicles several times during the trip.

High heels and stiff formal shoes are not practical in the desert. If you plan to do quad biking or sandboarding, stable footwear is even more important.

A few simple items can make the trip easier, especially in sunny or windy conditions. Sunglasses, sunscreen, and a phone power bank are often more useful than guests expect.
